I have been going through old photos and remembering funny stories so I'm going to start putting them in my blog.
This discussion happened when Micah was three years old and had Royce and Mardett Allen for Sunbeam teachers at church. We were coming home from church and Micah leaned over from the back seat of the car and said, "Mom are Hell and Damn swear words? I said, "I guess so why?" Micah said, "Mom, I've heard you say those words so do you repent?" I said, "I don't know ?" Micah got really upset and started to cry and said, "Mom you better repent or you'll go to Hell!" I think you could say I had a lightbulb moment. I wish I could say I am able to control my temper and never get mad, but I'm more careful about what my kids hear me say (most of the time).

You have to watch what you say around your kids because the next thing you know they are saying it too!
ok, this was so great! i love it when kids give us glimpse into reality! i have to say that occasionally i do lose my temper with my kids and i may be known to let a few words fly, unfortunately. my favorite is "oh hells bells" and it makes taylor say, "MOM!" like it's the worst thing he's every heard. i just roll my eyes and say, "please if that's the worst thing then i'm doing just fine!" hopefully we're not going to be judged too harshly for that! :) thanks for sharing!
