This is Mariah after the VHS swim team dinner. Tomorrow is the region swim meet at South Davis Recreation Center. She is swimming the 200 free style, 500 free style and the 200 and 400 relay. This is her first year swimming competitively, but she has always been a fish and has an immense love for the water. It's been so fun to watch her this year and such a great social outlet for Mariah. There are over 60 kids on the VHS swim team and half of those are boys (great incentive to swim)! I Love you...GO MARIAH!

i swam competatively through jr. high and school - back east it's a super big deal, here it seems like mostly just high school teams. it was a wonderful outlet for me too - i'm so glad for her, and a little jealous too. i would take back my awesome swim body in a second! plus, boy swimmers have awesome shoulders and back -whoo hoo! go mariah!
