I have many pet peeves as my family knows....one of which I was reminded of this past weekend. I think everyone especially Moms need a sanctuary in their house....mine is my bedroom. It's one of the few places in my home that is usually clean and without children. Don't get me wrong I don't mind if my kids get in bed with us if they are scared or if they are sick I let them stay in my room to watch TV and that sort of thing....but I absolutely HATE IT when they think its their place to lounge and hang out....why because they do this.....
When Troy and I were out last Friday the girls decided that they didn't like the TV downstairs or any of the other TVs to choose from in the house...they wanted the one in my room! I have now re-enforced the rule that that there are no kids allowed in my room when I'm not home so that I can maintain the serenity of my sanctuary.

I have way too many pet peeves-- I don't like my kids ransacking my room either.
right now I hate it when people don't put the sissors back!!!!! There is a place for them & they are never there--- man it bugs me.
ps. fun luncheon today! It's been a great year- I'm really happy you will be working with me on the council!
i hate the kids in my bedroom. that started with allie always leaving her polly pockets on my bedroom floor. one day i just had had enough and said, play in the PLAY room! no more kids in the bedroom!
My kids hang out in our bedroom at night and on Sunday mornings. I wish my bedroom was that clean.......and my bed made!!
