Check project #3 off the list
This is our new slate tile on our back patio
everyone told me that slate isn't good outside....but is was on closeout at Home Depot and half the price of anything else.
I hate it when someone tells you that you can't have what you want....I figure at half the cost of the other better outside materials I could have picked even if it does chip or crack that is really the look of slate...plus it will take years for it to need to be completely replaced .....by then I'll be ready for a change anyway!
Today we started tiling our back patio...
This is Troy trying to dry the patio from all the rain we've had so he can seal a giant crack on the patio before we start putting in the tile
We got a late start (1:00 p.m.) due to the weather....by 8:00 p.m. we were about 3/4 of the way done
My plan is to have the tile all layed by Monday morning and then just need to grout and seal and DONE!

Your patio looks awesome!!!! Did I ever tell you that I know how to tile.....sad but true! Have fun. We actually started our patio project...it is a miracle.

Everyone told me not to paint my floor too. man that ticked me off.
