These are the only two kids who would let me take their "first day of School" pictures....how sad is that!Mariah is out the door way too early to get her picture...she is a Junior this year and leaves for swimming in the early a.m.
Micah is a 9th grader and completely dislikes school....he gets pretty good grades....but cannot stand the routine, homework, teachers, etc. and as he says "answering to the man" everyday!
Payton is in 4th grade and has a really great teacher so she is really excited about school this year.
Riley is in 2nd grade and has a totally awesome teacher too....she will get to play the ukulele this year!
I'm just glad to have some quite during the day again....but will miss the lazy summer mornings with no schedule a lot!

I had to beg to take pictures of my boys. . . I'm sure it won't be long and they will refuse it too. Payton and Riley look cute for their first day . . . happy back to school!
I was mean and took Emily's picture when she got home from school. I still need to post my stuff!!

your girls look so cute! i think you should strong arm the older ones and get their photos anyway, some day they will appreciate knowing what they looked like that year. i'm sure there's something you could threaten to take away to get them to cooperate! :)
ps, tell micah i said he should play some rock music so he can "stick it to the man!"
