I'm Moving....

Remember this winter some of my "animal posts"? Like the cute herd of deer that visited my yard frequently through out winter...and the many posts about our family animals....and who could forget the post about the snake that visited our neighbors yard this summer? In that post I stated if anything else scary or gross visits my house that I'm moving.....well I guess I'll have to move because this showed up on the back of my house today.......YIKES!

What in the @##$ do you do with a tarantula spider? Micah wanted to shoot it with his paintball gun because he said his bb gun isn't strong enough to kill it. I didn't want fluorescent paint on the back of my house (even though Micah assured me it would wash off with the hose) so he finally squirted it off the back of the house with the hose and when it fell Mariah trapped it under a plastic bug container and put a lid on it. It's still in the container outside and I'm tellin ya if it's not there in the morning and has disappeared before I know it's final fate....I'm gonna have to move!!!

How do you dispose of a Tarantula?
If there's on there's more right?
Would you move?

Please keep all spiders and snakes at your house do NOT send them down the street!!! I am sooooo glad I have not found any of these creatures in my yard. I would never do yard work again!! Good luck I will not be helping you with this problem....I would move but don't go to far!

Okay what the hell!?? I have heard of several people seeing these this year but just ignored it- now there's proof. I'm sick.

You've got a beautiful home, but I'm with you . . . better move or hire a really good exterminator . . . twice.

Josh Hanson(Pres. Nelsons grandson) caught one exactly the same as the one you guys have. I am totally grossed out. Are they really tarantulas? Great show and tell!!!

I am so glad we don't have tarantulas in Maine! I'd leave it in the container because I would not want to chance it getting away!

We have seen these around here one to many a time. The good news is "supposedly" they are not poisonous, which who really cares when they look so scary!
