Tonight is the Bountiful-Viewmont football game at VHS.....BUT we are a little divided at this house between the Bountiful Braves and the Viewmont Vikings. You see Troy and I and both of our families went to Bountiful High....he played football and I was a cheerleader...so my kids know all the words to the BHS school song...I don't think they know any words to the VHS school song or at least they don't claim to.

Don't get me wrong when my kids are playing sports for VHS I'm the biggest Viking fan ever and Troy has coached our son Micah in Viewmont little league football for the past 7 years but.....since I don't have any football players at VHS yet...Troy and I love to give our son the hardest time about the old VHS and BHS football rivalry whenever they play each other.
Last year BHS won on their home field. Troy and I took Micah and all his football friends in all their VHS football gear to watch the game. Troy and I sat on the BHS bleachers (they were in the shade and way nicer) while the boys of course went to the visitor side to watch.....man it was a long ride home in the car with a lot of SAD boys (I was smiling on the inside). This year it's Viewmont's turn to play at their field...who knows who this year's winner will be.....we'll have to wait and see...the way I look at it Troy and I win either way.....Micah not so much!

You need to wear you your Bountiful Gear tonight,I am torn. Should I wear red or maroon??? I I don't have my pep club outfit anymore......I may still have my gloves but hey Walmart sells BHS sweatshirts???
I don't know what to say go Braves or Go Vikings???? I might have to cheer for Viewmont because I only know my nephew on the Braves team and I know more boys on the vikings.
See you tonight....it should be a lot of fun. Kelly is excited to go with you guys...he and Troy and can talk football :)!
