I Can't Have a 17 Year Old

Mariah is 17 years old today....what happened to this little cutie?.....

She looks like this now.....but is still a cutie!!!

The high school had late start so Mariah got to sleep in and open some of her gifts before school. Nana dropped off her gifts today so she opened those when she got home from school....thanks Nana.....and for dinner we took her friend Acey and the family to El Matador...her choice.

Ten Things I love about Mariah....

1. She is very self motivated and has proven that by getting up for 5:30 a.m. swim practice (with absolutely no parental help).
2. She is goal oriented and has set and achieved many of the swimming goals she made this year.
3. She is very loyal to her friends and family.
4. She is easy going and can adapt to change well.
5. She has a lot of faith.
6. She is very close to getting her Young Womens Medallion.
7. She is freakishly strong and can help move any piece of furniture around the house.
8. She is grateful for the things she has and when asked what she needed for her B-Day was stumped as to what to ask for (unusual for a teenager).
9. She is willing to do jobs around the house and almost never has a bad attitude about it.
10. She is fun to be around.
