Camp Cloud Rim

Payton went to Girls Scout Camp and spent two whole nights away from home with the girls in her troop. This is really big news because Payton almost never likes to sleep away from home especially when it's without her family and far away. She was in tears thinking about going....so we made a plan that she would pack for 2 nights...but we would plan on coming to get her after the first night unless she called to tell us not to. I was not with her when she got dropped off, but Troy assured me she was really nervous and would probably not make it for both nights.....but guess what!!!! We got a call early the next morning and it was Payton saying, "don't come get me I'm having fun and I want to stay another night!!!!!!"

I was so happy for her and apparently she was too....this photo was taken right after she walked through the door getting dropped off from camp....look at this grin! We have been hearing great camp stories ever since....
