I mean a "First Date" for Micah that is. I kept telling him after he turned 16 in December that he had until the end of January to organize his first date. Of course he completely refused and would not discuss the topic....but luckily for me VHS had a "Surprise Dance" last Saturday. This was something that was announced last minute and it was boys choice and they had to actually call or ask the girl in person....NO TEXTING...AMEN!!!! So after being on the fence a little....Micah and two other friends decided to take the plunge and ask some girls.
The Dance Theme Was "Blast from the Past"....so they decided to dress up like people from the 80's....
WTH I am from the 80's?????
Oh well it came in handy when suggesting some wardrobe ideas to the boys....They went shopping themselves at the DI and I have to say they looked pretty authentic.

I think they make a cute coupleI just love it when I get my way....but it seems like it was all his idea!!!

very cute indeed. but i want to know, how come the guys didn't dress up as 80's exercise instructors with their dates? those short shorts? leg warmers? i think you should push for that next time. :) pretty sexy.
