Spring Break 2008

This year we decided to venture down south to St. George and Zions National Park to see the sights and enjoy the warm weather. It was a great trip......it started with a moment of of slight hysteria in the car from Riley because as she says "a GIANT spider was crawling on her!" We never did find the spider. We think she was hallucinating!

Here is a photo of the "backseat crew"....Ace even went because we found a hotel that allowed dogs and .....we also found "The Doggie Dude Ranch" where he spent the afternoon while we hiked Zion. He LOVED it!

This guy was NOT afraid of humans....he came right up to us and let us take his picture.

Then you'll never guess who I saw on the Lower Emerald Pools hike....Patsy Messer....she almost walked right by me and then I said her name and we both screamed really loud.



Troy said he thought I saw a snake or cougar on the trail because We were screaming so loud. Way cool to see someone you know so far from home....we also saw some old neighbors too.

according to the kids we just had to go to Fiesta Fun so they could ride go carts and play video games, etc.

The temple was really close to our hotel...Troy snapped this at night on one of the many food/treat runs he went on....Thanks Troy!

This was taken on our way home in Kolob Canyon....we just needed to document that family trips now are being taken in our new car and that the Durango has been retired. I'm kinda sad, but not really it gets way better gas mileage (28/30 mpg) and has a DVD...hurray for DVD!
