I'm feeling a little sad with all this rain and cold weather...I'm made for the hot blazing sun of summer. I just haven't been posting a lot but a lot has been happening that I just don't have the energy to post about...so I will make a list
1. I went to a funeral for the mother of one of my son's friends
2. It was a great service and very calming as far as funerals go
3. Funerals leave me feeling like I had the wind knocked out of me
4. I'm excited to get our boat out again
5. We are planning a camping/4wheeling trip with some friends we don't see very often
6. We used our Lagoon passes for the first time this year...the weather was great for that
7. I need to get a few more flowers for the front yard before it gets too hot
8. I feel like I need a kick in the butt to get going
9. I hate when my tennis lesson is canceled because of rain
10. I'm excited to have a group of friends over for a BBQ this weekend
11. I feel restless and ready to take a big long trip
12. I need to be independently wealthy so I can have unlimited travel in my life
13. Summer weather better get here fast or I will scream

funerals definitely leave me feeling kicked in the gut. they're never the "celebration of life" that i think people will hope they will be. it's all just so sad.
i'm glad you made it to lagoon, it IS good lagoon weather - you don't bake and the park is less crowded.
if you figure out how to get that kick in the butt to get going, can you come over and give me one too!
i can't wait for the bbq this weekend, it's always fun to get our husbands together.
i need to be independently wealthy too, but i think i would use the money to hire some landscapers - oh, and kitchen cupboard painters. ya.

Funerals are always draining especially for young people that still should be here with their children. It make me sad to think about those poor kids.
I wish the rain would stop too....maybe it would feel more like summer and we have some energy and desire to do something!

I also agree with #11, 12 & 13. Wish I could travel all Summer long and run away from the rain!!!!
So many funerals this year- really rough stuff.
this weather is putting a damper on everything. i like rain, but shoot- 3 WEEKS OF IT- IN JUNE- holy hell, I'm going crazy.
I'm with ya on the, hot! hot! hot! where is it#@~$! I've been very patient and my patience is running out.
I am glad you guys got to use your passes when it wasn't too hot though. Lagoon is definitely better when not to hot.
I always need a quick in the pants.
I am sorry for the funeral. really rough, sadness going around lately.
